About Diane
Diane Nierenberg, originally from Madrid, Spain, has been based in California since 2017. After studying filmmaking in Los Angeles, she directed her first short film, The Worst Enemy, in 2018, marking the beginning of her journey as a director. In 2024, Diane made her feature film debut with The Serenade Charade, earning awards for Best Director and Best Female Director, solidifying her presence in the industry.
Diane is also an accomplished actress, with roles in films such as Xanadu Hellfire, One in a Blue Moon, and Blue Murder. Her acting skills are honed through her training with Lesly Kahn & Co. and Doug Warhit, bringing depth and authenticity to her performances.
Her work as a director is known for its focus on strong, complex women, weaving narratives that explore vulnerability, resilience, and transformation. Fascinated by human psychology and motivations, Diane crafts stories that flow naturally, revealing character through purpose-driven actions.
